Nav Canada Air Traffic Control Collective Agreement

Unifor Local 5454 represents more than 2,000 Coast-to-Coast Canadian air traffic controllers. February 12, 2020 – Ottawa – NAV CANADA announced today that members of the Air Traffic Specialists Association of Canada (ATSAC-Unifor Local 2245), representing approximately 681 air service specialists, have ratified a new collective agreement. NAV CANADA is a private, not-for-profit company founded in 1996 that provides air traffic control, airport advisory, weather briefings and aviation information services for more than 18 million square kilometres of Canadian national and international airspace. We are 5454 locals of Unifor, the largest private sector union in Canada. Our most important role is collective bargaining with NAV Canada, Serco and Transport Canada.
