Puerto Rico is bankrupt due to government mismanagement. \u00a0This happened years before the hurricanes hit the island.<\/div>\n<div>The infrastructure has been in horrible condition for many years, with no action taken by the local government who control the power company.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The\u00a0Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority\u00a0(PREPA) \u2014Spanish:\u00a0Autoridad de Energ\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica\u00a0(AEE)\u2014 is an\u00a0<a title=\"Electric power company\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Electric_power_company\">electric power company<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"List of government-owned corporations of Puerto Rico\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_government-owned_corporations_of_Puerto_Rico\">the government-owned corporation of Puerto Rico<\/a>\u00a0responsible for\u00a0<a title=\"Electricity generation\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Electricity_generation\">electricity generation<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Electric power transmission\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Electric_power_transmission\">power transmission<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"Electric power distribution\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Electric_power_distribution\">power distribution<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<a title=\"Puerto Rico\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Puerto_Rico\">Puerto Rico<\/a>.<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Puerto_Rico_Electric_Power_Authority#cite_note-1\">[1]<\/a>\u00a0PREPA is the only entity authorized to conduct such business in Puerto Rico, making it a\u00a0<a title=\"Government monopoly\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Government_monopoly\">government monopoly<\/a>. The authority is ruled by a board of directors appointed by\u00a0<a title=\"Governor of Puerto Rico\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Governor_of_Puerto_Rico\">the governor<\/a>with the\u00a0<a title=\"Advice and consent\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Advice_and_consent\">advice and consent<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0<a title=\"Senate of Puerto Rico\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Senate_of_Puerto_Rico\">the Senate<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Puerto Rico is an island. \u00a0To get supplies there under the conditions of this hurricane devastation is extraordinarily difficult, if not impossible. \u00a0Vast supplies, however, have reached the port, but only 20% of the drivers to transport the goods have been able or willing to report to work.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>But as our progressive friends like to say: Trump, the racist President, is not caring or doing enough to quickly resolve these problems in Puerto Rico. \u00a0Progressives have pointed out that Trump has not been Tweeting enough about Puerto Rico. \u00a0Not sure more tweets would solve these problems created by a horrible storm and a\u00a0disastrous\u00a0infrastructure.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>I just can&#8217;t take any of these hysterical progressives seriously anymore. \u00a0They are on an anti-Trump mission with no rational thought&#8230;regressives, I think.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>I am confident that the millions of Americans who voted for a new kind of government approach in November 2016, cannot believe what they are hearing from the regressive&#8230;no, I mean progressives. \u00a0If you are a progressive, you may want to rethink your approach.<\/div>\n<div>#progressivehysteria<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9-27-17 Do Progressives really believe this stuff Do progressives really believe the stuff they are saying everyday?
