After being burglarized, I climbed up to the roof via the fire escape ladder and saw that the reason I couldn’t open the hatch from the ladder inside the building was because it had been sealed closed. I don’t know if this constitutes a fire hazard or not but it makes it harder to get on the roof of the building (which we’re not supposed to do anyway). While I was up there at dusk, I took a few photos.
